ꔫ the planner is a part of a wider series (i will be releasing a larger planner incl calendars, financial planner, mental health trackers & more) this is just the school edition. so u will have all ur subjects, assignment tracking/ grade tracking, attendance tracking, resources, notes & more all under one roof

ꔫ i have wrote a guide / instruction page for u. as much as i love notion templates, i feel like many of them are made for the creator (rather than pov of others) so it can b hard to understand how to implement it .. i wanted 2 avoid that so wrote a guide ♡

𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓

ꔫ an organised portal w all ur school resources & needs under 1 roof. the school "home page" is ur hub of organisation. ur study playlist is on there, a clock, u can add ur full calendar if u wish, table of contents to other notion pages, combined assignment and combined timetable. u can also add other things in here like links to ur social medias, emails, school email, school website, google drive, zoom & more. its a launch pad.

ꔫ under this homepage, there is a subject tab. this contains all ur subjects under 1 page. there is a organised tab for each subject. on this page, again, u will see space to organise ur study life.

ꔫ for each subject (i have entered mock subjects) their pages have been organised. as u click on each subject, u will find information to that subject, more space to enter specific links or resources for that subject. here u can update things like the teachers email for this subject, consultation hours etc. there is a specific assignment table for this subject which opertates on a tag basis (u will need to modify this).

ꔫ there is a section for resources for each subject, such as the pdfs for it, the text book, any relevant docs etc that u need. i have incl an individualised study planner, again working on a tag basis (u will need to modify) showing only the relevant "to do" list for that class alone. here u can organise the assignments u have started and notes u still need to review. below this, u will have endless space for ur notes. i have divided this into sections (i.e., week 1 notes) where u can submit ur weekly notes / lecture slides / etc for that class or take pics of the notes u made for tht class so it is archived in 1 space. this kind of archival system is what helps u to organise ur study life.

ꔫ the next thing is the attendance & note catch up. here u can move items to the correct category (i.e., attended class and notes r complete). why is this important to track ur note taking & attendance? well.. a teacher once said to me u should think of “note taking” and “weekly readings” as mini weekly assignments. u should then be making notes during the class. when the class is finished, or later on, u should find time to organise them properly and study them. if u didn’t understand anything, its equivalent of not attending (sometimes) so mark it as “attended but needs catch up”) - even rewatch the lecture if possible and restudy the notes. i find that this is the best way to ensure they stay in ur long term memory and are fully absorbed < 3 this tracker helps w that.

ꔫ if one week u are sick, u have missed a few classes etc. the following week begins but u have not finished watching lectures from the classes the week before (the ones u misssed), then thats ok, u can create “new” to do sections in this tracker and add them on i.e., “rewatch week 3 english lit lecture” even if u are in week 4 < 3

ꔫ i have also incl a combined assignment tracker which combines all ur subjects in one. these items can be dragged to the appropriate section and tagged as #archived once complete.

when u receive the URL make sure u click "duplicate theme" - this link is set to expire shortly after use to prevent theft, so make sure u duplicate it to ur notion. also make sure u are viewing this template in full view. keep in mind u will need to personalise this theme urself by entering ur subjects into it / calendars / and tag system.
